Clearstream Wastewater Systems Initial 2-Year Service Policy
At Farmer's Septic, we are committed to providing the best service for your Clearstream Wastewater System. To ensure your system's optimal performance, we offer a comprehensive 2-year initial service policy at no cost to you as part of Clearstream's limited warranty and service agreement.
Here's a summary of what you can expect from this policy:
2-Year Initial Service Policy:
- The 2-year policy begins from the date of installation, regardless of when you sign the maintenance agreement.
- It becomes effective only after we receive a signed agreement from you.
Four Services within 2 Years:
- During the 2-year period, you will receive a total of four services from Farmer's Septic (two during the 1st year and two during the 2nd year of the 2-year initial service policy).
- These services cover inspections and necessary maintenance and servicing.
Effluent Quality Inspection:
- During inspections, we visually check for effluent quality indicators, including color, turbidity, sludge build-up, scum overflow, and odor.
- Any issues related to effluent quality will be addressed promptly.

User's Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth and successful maintenance plan for your Clearstream Wastewater System, we kindly ask you to take note of the following responsibilities:
Property Transfer Notification:
- In the event of any property transfer containing the installed alternative system, notifying Farmer's Septic within 30 days of said transfer is obligatory.
- Service policies are not transferable, so new property owners must sign a new service policy with us.
Alarm Conditions and Disruptions:
- In the event of an alarm condition or any disruption of the treatment works, notify Farmer's Septic immediately.
Notification of Home Occupancy:
- When your home is first occupied, notify Farmer's Septic in writing. This allows us to schedule sampling and operation and maintenance services accordingly.
Required Maintenance Activities:
- Some maintenance activities are not covered by the agreement but are necessary under applicable legislation or for optimal system performance.
- Examples include pumping septic tanks and grease traps, which are your responsibility to have done as needed.
